How to apply

To apply for AoBSO membership please check your school’s eligibility then email our Executive Officer Mark Bignell on admin@aobso.uk with the following:

  • A copy of your most recent BSO inspection report

  • The name and contact details for the Headteacher who will be the voting member of the association

  • A copy of the school logo, website address and contact email for the AoBSO directory of BSO schools

  • Any GDPR compliant photographs that you would like included on the AoBSO website and Association promotional materials.

The school will then receive an invoice for membership fees. Upon payment of fees you will be registered as a member of AoBSO and will be able to communicate AoBSO membership in your marketing materials. In-year membership cancellation will not result in a refund of membership fees.
